Checking her bags again, Naina beamed.
Everything was packed according to her taste and weather.
They were supposed to leave at noon and board a flight to Ahemdabad.
Yes, atlast her husband had the courtesy to inform her of the place they were going on their business trip.
So it took her some good minutes to find out the dresses perfect according to the weather and atlast she also took some dressing pieces advice from her sister of course.
From the corner of her eyes, she glanced at her husband who was packing his stuff as well.
Well, he wasn't used to it as she used to pack his things since the time they got married but this time she just didn't.
Reason?
She was mad and that was because she just felt the need to stay like this. She didn't like the way that it was always her who used to be the one who initiated the conversation so this time she chose to stay mad and guess what?
This man just didn't utter more words!
Though this was typical of him and she would awe at his this silent self too like a blind lover but this time she just expected more?
Maybe.
In short, after that conversation with him about her sister and his brother, they hadn't talked if you leave that four words he said last night, "We're going to Ahemdabad."
That's it.
Swirling her eyes in a snobby way she frowned.
I'm being way too moody.
But shrugged and picked up the comb from the dressing table which they shared but had her stuff mostly.
Picking up the pastel pink scrunchie she was about to wrap her hair in a ponytail when the words he spoke to her after 2 months of their marriage in a hesitant voice revolved in her mind,
"Open hair looks good."
A very very minimum statement, right?
But she knew that it took him how much courage to speak those four words to his wife after 2 months of their marriage.
Her eyes flicked between her reflection in the mirror and the scrunchie in her hand. She sighed keeping the scrunchie back on the dressing table.
Only to once again comb her hair once again and twist them into a hair bun this time.
A ponytail leaves the hair dangling but the hair bun doesn't!
She thought proudly picking up the scrunchie and tying the bun.
She glanced towards him and ended up glaring at him sideways who was focussing on the wardrobe, trying to see if there were more clothes he could take along.
Huffing in annoyance she turned and picked up the black nail paint.
Well, black nail paint didn't go anywhere near her pastel pink crop Kurti and plazo but somehow she loved how mismatched they both were...
Didn't make sense but still did to her at least.
Aadarsh turned and gulped hard.
Well, his precious wife was sitting and was apparently infected by his virus of minimum talking.
Duh! His most horrifying imagination was coming to reality!
She had slowly started to become like him and was even giving the same ignoring attitude...
Though he was well aware of the fact that these were just her post menstrual hormones acting right now.
Well, he was her husband and he was supposed to know about her menstrual cycle and track her periods' timing. He also knew that, unlike pre-menstrual syndrome, she suffered from post-menstrual syndrome which means her hormones were all over the place for a few days after her period ends.
They always made her more clingy towards him but this time they were acting quite opposite and he was pissed on what? Her hormones of course!
But alas he could do nothing about them.
Well, yes he tried. His phone search history was proof of this as it had all sorts of questions; Why is my wife silent? How to not infect your habits to another person? What to do when your wife is behaving weirdly? How to talk more?
Unfortunately on his side, he had found many kinds of solutions... Some were just not suitable for a soft person like Naina...
Right now looking at her his throat and chest felt tightened. He simply wasn't able to construct words. His words didn't have the greatest impact on a person owing to the fact that he didn't know how to speak the correct one at the correct time and he was well aware of that.
His eyes raked from her head to toe then again toe to head as a soft sigh left past his lips.
Beautiful.
She always looked beautiful in whatever she wears and there was no denying that. And the grace and style, she carried herself with just added charm to her beauty.
Suddenly his eyes were stuck on her hair as he frowned.
A hair bun?
No way! It just didn't go well with her outfit.
He stepped towards her while she stood rooted in her place.
She was well aware of his constant stare and that was making her feel nervous from inside. Her heart pounded at an insane pace as she saw him coming closer and closer. Fisting her Kurti, she bit the inside of her cheeks anxiously.
He ate something wrong in the morning. She guessed looking into his eyes which were just focused on her.
Probably, the silent husband she preferred more. At least she didn't feel this nervous around her usual silent husband!
Just when there was just a few inches gap in between them, he halted and bent a little towards her racing her heart even more.
She forgot to breathe for a moment as his hands raised, slowly he pulled out the scrunchie letting her straight hair fall free till her mind back. His fingers gently moved in her hair setting them up. He tilted his face towards her more, twisted some stray hair strands in his hands, and whispered in his gruff voice,
"Better."
His palms brushed against her cheeks as he pulled his hand away from her hair gently and moved back their wardrobe.
Whereas with a heaved breathing and flushed cheeks she kept staring at him with widened eyes and a chaotic mind.

Hurriedly Raina descended the stairs, coming down towards the kitchen to make a cup of tea for herself and probably have some sandwiches as well?
Afterall whatever happened in the early morning, no one was going to have breakfast together.
Aakarsh had already made her mind a tangle with his revelations which didn't connect leaving her thinking insanely.
Also, their proximity earlier was a reason for her messed-up state too...
For sure, she held his hand but he...
Never mind.
She wasn't going to think about all this again.
That man was a little screwed in mind and would make her too if she kept thinking about him.
Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, she made her way to the kitchen where already a feminine figure was present.
The least expected person is Ishani.
"What are you doing here?" Raina couldn't help but quiz.
"Making tea." Ishani swirled her eyes dramatically straining the tea into the cup.
Raina hummed taking out another utensil to make her cup of tea and just when she was about to keep it on the stove, Ishani shrieked, "My god! You are going to dirty another utensil?"
"Yes?" it sounded more like a question when Raina answered.
"Keep it back. I already have made enough afterall a tea is never made in for one person, it would be either more or too less." Ishani mumbled shaking her head and straining another cup of tea which was only half. She frowned and looked at the first cup which looked way too full. Shrugging her shoulders she picked the first cup and poured some tea from it to the second cup and now both looked full making her smile in satisfaction.
"You've never washed dishes in your entire life, right?" Raina frowned at Ishani's question and then smiled sheepishly.
How much jerk of a father she had, but he had money, it had its own perks while Ishani gave her a knowing look.
Not able to control her curiosity, Raina queried, "How do you know?"
"Well because you clearly broke 'person who did dishes' morals by taking out another utensil for making tea when there was one on the stove," Ishani answered in a matter-of-fact tone and Raina nodded her head.
"Oh-kay so leave this and tell me, what you said over there in the morning was just a joke right?" Raina questioned suspiciously. After her conversation with Aakarsh, she knew that it would be a big problem if by any means it was true... Ishani dating Vikram.
Ishani grinned, an evil grin this time which made Raina anxious.
And then Ishani laughed, "Lol it was a joke. Though I will admit I had a crush on his big brother in my teens but I was over that crush a long time back knowing how much of an asshole these rich males are."
"You had a crush on Udgam Singhania?"
"Teenage is a bitch. Plus at that time he was a fine man and I might or might not send a few DMs on Instagram too."
"Oh my god! That's hilarious." Raina laughed putting her teacup down.
"Not everyone is lucky to marry their crush afterall." It was an innocent statement made by Ishani that tongue-tied Raina as she looked here and there trying to stay normal.
"Oh," Ishani commented raising her brows. She was no fool and her eyes worked pretty well to notice the sudden changes around her.
"Also not lucky enough to go on a honeymoon with their crush." Ishani teased being well aware of who exactly Raina's crush was and Raina's face heated further.
But suddenly Raina exclaimed being confused, "Honeymoon?"
Ishani absurdly rolled her eyes and mocked, "I don't know what to call a trip where husband and wife are going alone."
"Ishani!" Raina shrieked in horror.
"We're just going on a vacation." Raina clarified.
"Oh! A vacation where you both are going to stay in the same room and do stuff. This type of vacation is called honeymoon only." Ishani pointed out shrugging her shoulders slightly.
"So... Is everyone thinking we're going on honeymoon? But we went on a trip previously too." Raina murmured moreover to herself.
"Of course, everyone is thinking you're going on a honeymoon because you are! I mean the previous trip doesn't count because Aakarsh Bhai was forced to take you along for a business. But this time he especially took leaves from work to take you along, so... It makes sense that this is a honeymoon planned by him." Ishani replied sipping the last of her tea while Raina's mind was running a marathon of thoughts.
They're going on a honeymoon!?
No way!
She thought leaving the half-drunk tea in the sink and strolling haughtily towards the room she shared with her so-called husband.
"Aakarsh!" She yelled glaring at her husband who was busy taking out more clothes from the wardrobe.
"Hnn?" Aakarsh asked not turning towards her and still taking out clothes
"What are you doing?" She questioned keeping a hand on her forehead in distress.
"Your bag is still empty a little so..." He smiled sheepishly turning towards her but his smile vanished seeing her fire-spitting eyes.
"What happened?" He asked coming towards her to which Raina huffed angrily.
"You and I are going on a trip. Everyone is thinking we're going on a honeymoon!" She exclaimed glaring right into his eyes.
"So, what's the problem?" He interrogated dumbfoundedly.
"Are we going on a honeymoon, Aakarsh?" She mocked with her voice dripping from sarcasm whereas this time he horrifically widened his eyes as now his brain seemed to work.
"No! I'm taking you out on a trip as a friend." He exclaimed shaking his head while this time it was her chance to widen her eyes.
"As a friend?" She spat out bitterly at his response.
This man!
"And when did we become friends Aakarsh?" She tilted her head and asked to which he lazily shrugged and extended his hand out, "Even though for me we were already friends but as you now say, so will you become my friend?"
Raina's gaze flicked between his extended hands and his eyes which were staring at her as she mentally face palmed herself.
Not knowing what to do, she extended her hand and he did a handshake.
"Now, we're friends so there's no problem now." He replied in the coolest tone which had no tint of worry.
Raina sighed annoyedly, "Do you take your every female friend out on a trip like this?" this was supposed to come out as sarcastic but he wasn't able to catch the sharpness in her tone and answered,
"I've never had any relationship or friendships with women in the past." He answered. And his next words made her heart race,
"You're the only woman in my life, Raina." His tone was genuine and soft.
And now, she understood. He never dealt with any women before and will have a hard time differentiating between a guy and a female friend.
"I don't think 'friends' should go out like this." She voice out her concern and emphasized on friends.
"Does it even matter? Don't care about the world." He told in a flat tone with a smile to which she opened her mouth again to argue, "But—"
"You're too cute," Aakarsh interrupted with a laugh and pecked her nose stepping forward freezing her in between her words.
Aakarsh turned and continued his work of packing while Raina stood frozen in her spot with a heart-thumping so loud.
Probably he had a long way to understand how friends actually act...
She thought now stressed about their so-called trip with her weird 'friend'...
Again this chapter became so long only in this so I thought to cut it off into two parts as it was taking more than I expected time to complete the chapter.
Next update will be updated when I'm done with that. No deadlines this time lol!
Target- 750+
How was the chapter?
Twin couples making progress?
Aakarsh and Raina are adorable?
Do you think they will be able to go on as a friend?
Take Care❤️
